Covered bleacher seating is an excellent choice for many outside events.  Some reasons to choose covered bleacher seating over open air seating would be to protect your guests from the sun during the summer season, shield people from the rain if the event is scheduled in a wet season or just provide shelter from the elements during the event.  Another reason would be to use the bleachers for a private event in which case a larger tent or structure can be used and closed in to make the event feel more indoors.  Whatever the case covered bleachers can add a great deal of protection and comfort for event seating.  

If you decide to use a tent to cover the bleachers you need to make sure they will be large enough to accommodate the bleacher seating. Here comes the spring and with it rec sports! All different types of sporting events will start happening over the next few weeks. What to expect when renting bleachers for your event!

When you are trying to find bleachers to rent for an event, the first question is always "How much does it cost to rent bleachers?".    The challenge with this question is there are many different factors that determine the cost for an event that needs rental bleachers.    Here are some of the questions you should expect when you contact a rental bleacher company (ideally Rental Bleachers, Inc.!).

• Where will the event take place?   You will need to know at least the city and state for the event.  At RBI, we can provide rental bleachers in Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Louisiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Ohio, West Virginia, Virginia, North Carolina, and South Carolina. 
• Will the event be indoors or outdoors?   This will determine the type of bleachers and the amount of work needed to prep the area to set-up the temporary bleachers.
• What type of surface will the bleachers be placed?   Is it level, is there enough room?  If we need to level the area for the bleachers, there could be additional costs.
• How will the installers access the area to deliver the rental bleachers?  A key factor in cost can be if the bleacher installation team needs to carry the materials, or if they can drive up to the location where the aluminum bleachers will be installed.
• How many people are you seating at your event?   Usually bleachers are based on a "per seat" basis, and the more seats you rent, the less per seat the cost would be.  If your event is charging for seats, it may be most cost effective to rent more bleachers and have some extra space.
• When is the event, and how long will you need to rent the bleachers?   Bleacher rentals are available for one day, one week, several weeks, or even months.
• Will the city or local government where the bleachers will be rented require engineer drawings of the bleachers?   Most do not, however, some may require this based upon the size of the bleacher seating.  Some may even require plans for the project.   We can provide all of this, but it is an important factor.
