Covered bleacher seating is an excellent choice for many outside events. Some reasons to choose covered bleacher seating over open air seating would be to protect your guests from the sun during the summer season, shield people from the rain if the event is scheduled in a wet season or just provide shelter from the elements during the event. Another reason would be to use the bleachers for a private event in which case a larger tent or structure can be used and closed in to make the event feel more indoors. Whatever the case covered bleachers can add a great deal of protection and comfort for event seating.
If you decide to use a tent to cover the bleachers you need to make sure they will be large enough to accommodate the bleacher seating. If using a 10 row bleacher system the tent need to be at least 12’ tall to start in order to clear the back fence height and allow for people to get to the highest seats. The depth of the tent must be at least 20’ but larger is suggested if you would like to have a little covered space in front of the bleachers.
